"Khabir is an experienced and very knowledgeable practitioner. I would have no hesitation in recommending him." Roger Ford, Co-founder of Healing In America, Ojai CA
"Khabir is a knowledgeable and kind practitioner. He is the only practitioner who lays out a plan for you then follows up to see how things are working. Your not left alone to guess what to do if you have a problem. I like that! It's called caring." Paula Oliver, Friendsville, TN
"Hey Khabir I just wanted to thank you a lot for how you have helped me with figuring out how to heal my body! I feel better now than I have in years. Thanks so much for your wisdom and help! Thanks," Shea Salisbury, Ojai, CA
Born of natural childbirth in Tucson, Arizona in 1962, Khabir was raised as a lacto-vegetarian by health-conscious parents, who began educating him about nutrition and hatha yoga at an early age. As a teenager, Khabir was providing medicinal teas and massage therapy for friends and family. He went on to study western herbal medicine (1978) and the traditional nutritional sciences (1981). He pursued advanced studies in North India (1983) to study clinical Ayurveda health-care (kayachikista) and detoxification (panchakarma). Due to the kindness of various Ayurvedic doctors in India (1984-1998), he received clinical training and knowledge. In Khabir's extensive travels, he has visited over 60 countries worldwide with considerable time spent in Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, South Africa, France, and Morocco.
Over the last 6 years, with the support of sponsors, Khabir has organized Ayurvedic training courses for beginning and existing practitioners, held annually for the past 4 years in India.
